Warren Burns
Regional Director, Leading Edge Forum

Warren Burns is a Regional Director for Leading Edge Forum based in Australia.  In this position, Warren works with clients, particularly around the areas of technology next practice and technology innovation in resolving their most pressing business issues, thus delivering additional value from our network of practitioners and published materials.  Warren is lead practitioner for the Start-up Culture Lab service, that introduces CIOs and Enterprise IT teams to the start-up culture in a focused 'learning lab' environment, to help them deliver project outcomes that seem to come so easily to start-up businesses.

Warren is also the owner and founder of BurnsRed, an innovation agency that brings ideas to life and provides practical guidance on what it takes to get the best out of the creative and talented teams that are already in your organization.  BurnsRed are responsible for LEF's new website.

Warren’s previous role as Head of Innovation at Unilever has given him a unique perspective on the intersection of business and technology.  Warren was responsible for bringing technology innovation to the business, working collaboratively with the functions to test new technology, and evangelizing the IT function as a source of business relevant innovation.

Warren has 14 years’ experience in design, architecture strategy and information security including global roles at Universal Music and General Electric.
