At LEF, Richard leads and manages a global cross-industry think tank dedicated to helping large organizations reimagine their organizations and leadership for a technology-driven future. He is also responsible in DXC Technology for helping major global clients transform to take advantage of future state business platforms.
Richard has over 20 years' experience in the IT marketplace. He has held a variety of Sales and Marketing positions both nationally and internationally, firstly with NCR Corp and AT&T – primarily in the Financial Services marketplace – and latterly with CSC Index, prior to his current role at the LEF where he has full P&L responsibility for the business.
Richard is co-author of two reports, Unleashing Digital Talent for Fun and Profit (with Dave Aron, July 2017) which focuses on identifying breakthrough talent management stratagems that most organizations aren't doing, and almost none have mastered, but that hold significant promise for most. And The Future of Retained IT – Repositioned at the Front of the Firm (with Kirt Mead and Alex Mayall, February 2011), designed to help clients understand the future of the IT function, and the tremendous business and personal opportunities it provides for those organizations that embrace a much more front-of-the-firm approach.
Richard has a Masters in International Relations and Contemporary War from King's College, London, a BA Hons in Business Administration from the University of Wales and has completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme. Richard regularly presents on public platforms discussing key strategic issues for executives and was shortlisted in 2013 for the Top 50 most influential people in the UK as ranked by Computer Weekly.
