David Reid
Programme Director, Leading Edge Forum

David Reid, based in the UK, is Programme Director for Leading Edge Forum. In this position, David works with clients across all research domains to use recent research in resolving their most pressing business issues, thus delivering additional value from our network of practitioners and published materials.  David is also a core member of the Business Relationship Management (BRM) instructor team.

David is a seasoned IT leader having spent over a decade with GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world's leading research based pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, where he performed a number of UK and International roles within Group IT and the wider commercial lines of business.  He was latterly Global Product Manager for Mobility and Closed Loop Marketing, where he was responsible for defining and implementing product and technology roadmaps, leading a cross-functional matrix team delivering multiple projects in support of commercial and digital marketing objectives.  Prior to that, David was Director for IT Strategy in the GSK Commercial Business, where he led the development and approval of strategies to support CRM and sales force mobility in over 70 countries.

David has a BA Hons from the University of Plymouth and an MBA from the Open University.
