Consumerization & the IoT

How are consumer technologies affecting both the firm and the marketplace?

The LEF has long had a leadership position in this domain, first by coining the term consumerization in 2004 and then tracking its ever-changing state of the art.  Recent research topics have included: employee choice and responsibility, collaborative tools and technologies, cloud computing, preparing for a post-PC era, a consumerization workbook, and co-creating value with your customers.  Our 2015 research will track the progress of the internet of things, while helping firms set up their own Experience Lab to foster the necessary device and data usage familiarity, as consumer technologies increasingly reshape the customer experience.
