Richard is Managing Director of the Leading Edge Forum.
In this role, Richard leads and manages a global strategic Research and Advisory business aimed at assisting COOs, CIOs and other enterprise leaders understand and exploit the ever-expanding intersection between business, information technology and management.
Richard has over 20 years' experience in the IT marketplace. He has held a variety of Sales and Marketing positions both nationally and internationally, firstly with NCR Corp and AT&T – primarily in the Financial Services marketplace – and latterly with CSC Index, prior to his current role at the LEF where he has full P&L responsibility for the business.
Richard is co-author (with Kirt Mead and Alex Mayall) of the report, The Future of Retained IT – Repositioned at the Front of the Firm. This report is designed to help clients understand the future of the IT function, and the tremendous business and personal opportunities it provides for those organizations that embrace a much more front-of-the-firm approach. In addition, he regularly presents on public platforms discussing key strategic issues for executives.
Richard has a BA Hons in Business Administration from the University of Wales and has completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme. Richard was shortlisted in 2013 for the Top 50 most influential people in the UK as ranked by ComputerWeekly, and is currently a non-executive Director of tour operator Exclusive Escapes.
