Rick Muñoz is a senior technology architect with CSC and a 2009 LEF Associate. Working on mainframes in 1979, AI in the 1980s, distributed computing in the 1990s, and Service Oriented Architecture in recent years, Rick has been researching and developing complex IT solutions for several decades. He coauthored the LEF Digital Foundations report and conducted LEF research on Microsoft technologies. His recent projects have included leading the enterprise architecture of a large aerospace company and modernising engineering systems at a global mining company.
Rick has delivered technology strategies and IT solutions for many Fortune 500 companies. He has also driven new IT organisational models and processes, including innovation programmes and architecture governance models. He specialises in emerging information technology platforms and methods, including agile solution delivery using dynamic virtual environments. A member of CSC’s Global Business Solutions group, Rick now focuses on developing cloud computing services for clients across multiple industries.
