Professor Lee Schlenker
Managing Director, LHST
Professor Schlenker is the Managing Director of the consulting firm LHST. He has led corporate training workshops, and directed consulting missions, on three continents for firms including Apple, Ernst & Young, France Telecom, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP in the manufacturing, telecommunications, public works and service industries.
Professor Schlenker is also a Professor of Information Systems at the Ecole de Management de Lyon and a visiting professor at the University of Newcastle. He is formally the IBM Chair of Electronic Commerce at the Ecole de Management de Grenoble.
Recipient of the EDSF prize for the use of technology in teaching, he currently teaches various graduate and management education courses (BPI, ERP, SCM …) in England, Finland, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
For the European Community, Professor Schlenker has co-managed the eXel project on Management Education and TBP ITN MED projects, as well as the ESIS II survey. He is also one of the two project leads on the Eureka project Simple CMS.
Recent publications include The Effective Organization (Wiley & Sons, 2005) and The Journey to Value (Goodfellow, August 2009) as well as numerous articles and contributions on the business value of information technology.
Professor Schlenker holds his PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
